Panaway and Copaiba Essential Oils

Image result for gentle babiesI want to talk to you today about Panaway and Copaiba essential oils. These 2 essential oils have helped me tremendously this pregnancy. Pregnancy is a time in a woman's life when she is really careful about what goes into her body. Many traditional medications are contraindicated during pregnancy, for the unborn baby's safety. The wonderful thing with essential oils is that they are not only safe but also an effective way to treat many pregnancy ailments. I use Gentle Babies by Debra Raybern as a reference guide. It provides wonderful tips using Young Living essential oils and natural remedies for pregnancy, childbirth, infants and found children.

Panaway Essential Oil
This blend consists of wintergreen, helichrysum, clove, and peppermint essential oils. It is beneficial in pain management.

I have been using this oil to help with discomforts in my back and calves (from standing long hours working as a nurse - the combination of this oil blend and compression socks helps so much!).

Here are what individual oil does to contribute to the therapeutic effects of this amazing blend.

* Wintergreen Essential Oil
Wintergreen helps aid the body's natural response to irritation and injury.  It is often used to manage all types of pain. The main constitute of wintergreen is methyl salicylate, which is commonly used in musculoskeletal ointments.

* Helichrysum Essential Oil
Helichrysum is renowned for its ability to help aid the body's natural response to irritation and injury.

* Clove Essential Oil
Clove helps aid the body's natural response to irritation and injury and can be used to help alleviate minor aches and pains associated with daily life.

* Peppermint Essential Oil
Peppermint helps aid the body's natural response to irritation and injury and can be used to help alleviate minor aches and pains associated with daily life, among other things.

With all the amazing effects of each of these essential oils, it is easy to see how it is a powerful blend that helps with aches and pains.

Copaiba Essential Oil

Copaiba is a new favorite oil of mine. I originally got it because it magnifies the therepeutic properties of other essential oils, which I thought would be great in my lotions. Only until a few months ago have I really experienced the other benefits of this oil.

Copaiba helps aid the body's natural response to irritation and injury.  It also helps with pain management and digestion, among other things.

This oil also comes in as a Vitality oil, which means its FDA approved to be taken internally (the oil inside a Vitality bottle and a regular bottle are the same oil, they are just labeled differently, either for dietary use or topical/aromatic use.) I've had occasional pregnancy-related heartburn and 1 drop of this oil in about 8 oz. of water helps alleviate that discomfort. I've also recently had hip pain and a couple drops of this oil mixed with a carrier oil over my hip bones really helps with those aches.

In order to be compliant with Young Living and the FDA, I have left out the reference information regarding essential oils. If you have any questions, want to know more about the effects of essential oils, or want to know where I get my information about essential oils, please message me!
